Mixed media. Driftwood, polymer clay, twine, metallic acrylic paint, a snowflake obsidian crystal heart. Braided cords. Feathers. A moon phase crescent charm and 2 leaf charms.
 
A Memory Tree. This wall mounted sculpture has been created to celebrate and honour souls that have passed to spirit. You can hang small momentos and keepsakes from the branches. You can place below the tree photos, candles or larger items and create an altar or shrine.
 
Love bonds between 2 souls are eternal. Heart to heart cords transcend death. The energy cords are represented by the braids. The feathers represent the soul who has passed. Love bonds connect heart to heart and soul to soul. To represent this the cords connect to the crystal heart. In our lifetime we have many love bonds, each unique so there are many cords.
 
A Wishing Tree. You can use the tree sculpture for wish rituals. Use a colourful ribbon to represent your personal wish or something you are grateful for and hang it from a branch.
 
How to perform a wish or gratitude ritual.
 
Choose a ribbon to write on. Each colour has symbolism.
 
White. Harmony, peace and protection.
Black. To ward off negative energy and for safety.
Brown. For blessings for animals, people or places.
Blue. Healing, forgiveness and wisdom.
Green. Luck and prosperity. Fertility.
Yellow. Joy and happiness. Intelligence. Creativity.
Orange. Motivation and ambition. Confidence and courage. Vitality.
Red. Passion and love. Inner strength. Career.
Pink. Friendship. Empathy and compassion. Beauty.
Purple. Tapping into the divine. Spiritual.
 
Write on a ribbon with good intentions.
 
Then tie it loosely or hang it from a branch. While doing this you can if you want to raise positive vibrations by playing music, drum, sing, chant, dance, etc.
 
Once the ribbon or ribbons are on the tree, touch the tree and give thanks.
 
This sculpture measures approximately 72 cm high by 40 cm wide and 20 cm deep.
