Original Portraits by Vicki Jayne Yates BA Hons

Here you will find a few examples of my art work. If you love my portraits and are considering a portrait of your beloved horse, pony, donkey, dog, cat, lama, bull, pigs, chickens, etc...please get in touch to discuss your ideas. Portraits are done from clients sending me photographs.  If you are thinking of having a portrait done I require good quality photographs with clear sharp focus so I can see detail. I cannot create a portrait using blurred reference images. As I will have no idea of markings, coat colour and details that make your animal unique. Please ensure the photographs show all of the animal's face. I cannot add on parts that are missing. My main interest for animal portraits is as nature intended. 

My art is done with meraki. Meraki means my work is done spiritually with love, passion and soul. I aim to put into your portrait the essence of your beloved horse, dog, cat or pet. I will work with you to deliver a portrait you are delighted with. Each step of the way I send you updates, so you can see how the portrait comes to life. You know your animal better than me so while I work on the portrait I encourage people to give feedback, as I can make changes as I go along. You are part of the experience of the creation of the portrait.  Payment is only due if you are happy with the art I create for you. I want you to be 100% happy with the portrait as it will be hanging on your wall. 

PRICES

A4 size approximately measures 210 x 297 mm  or 8.3 x 11.7 in

• £125.00 for an A4 unframed and unmounted original colour pastel portrait plus delivery. This size is only suitable for a single subject. 
• A mounted and framed A4 original colour pastel portrait costs £125.00 plus the costs of framing and delivery.  

A3 size approximately measures 297 x 420 mm or 11.7 x 16.5 in

• £175.00 for an A3 unframed and unmounted original colour pastel portrait plus delivery for one single portrait. This size is suitable for a single subject or for two portraits on the same artwork. £225.00 for two portraits on the same artwork.  
• A3 mounted and framed original colour pastel portrait costs plus the costs of framing and delivery.  

Larger portraits I am happy to quote for.

Portraits with more than 2 subjects on an artwork I am happy to quote for.

UNIQUE GIFTS. If you are looking for that extra special gift, a portrait of a much loved pet is sure to delight. I take commissions for birthday and Christmas gifts. However please allow plenty of time for your portrait to be completed.
