Fabulous Fungi. A Statement Wall Hanging Sculpture.

Fabulous Fungi. A wall hanging statement sculpture.

This unique artwork is made from driftwood, polymer clay fungi, leather, feather decorations and a tigers iron crystal.

Fungi are the symbol for the interconnectedness of the natural world. Mycelium networks are made by fungi and they connect with the landscape, soil, trees and other plants. They teach us of the powerful lesson that all life is linked in ways we often cannot see. To remind us to be part of community and our environment. That our spiritual journey is linked and like a web.

Fungi are associated with transformation and renewal. They often appear when the season is turning to autumn, when other life is slowing down and preparing for winter. The fungi help breakdown dead organic matter and burst into life with their caps. They remind that growth can come from death and letting go. They are a symbol of rebirth and the natural cycle of life.

Those of us who are drawn to mushrooms and fungi are reminded they are resilient and can thrive in unexpected places even in adverse conditions. A powerful reminder when we are facing difficulties and life challenges. They encourage us to adapt, embrace change, learn and invest in personal growth.

Driftwood. This beautiful piece of wood is unique. It has been shaped by the elements, washed in the sea, endured storms and currents. Yet it came to shore and has a natural beauty from surviving the harsh conditions. It is a powerful reminder that we can withstand life’s storms and adversities and emerge stronger and beautiful. This driftwood has become transformed and symbolizes growth and renewal in our lives.

The driftwood reminds us of our connection to the natural world. It’s life from a live tree, to ending up broken away and washed to sea. The cycle of life of the tree and the lifeforce of the ocean. A beautiful piece that tells a unique story of the natural world.

Those who are drawn to driftwood are reminded it is about letting go and embracing a journey of change.  The profound spiritual messages are of resilience, transformation, and connection to nature. A message that beauty that can result from life's challenges.
