A Hole in the Soul. Crow. Sculpture by Vicki Jayne Yates BA Hons.
A unique and stunning sculpture that tells the story of a hole in the soul.
The soul is the essence of a person and what makes us a unique being. Soul consciousness helps to start with healing the hole in your soul. It can be mended. It takes courage, grit and a willingness to face and tackle the issues that caused the hole.
This sculpture is made from driftwood for the connection to the sea and the water element that washed it to shore.
Crow. The crow is a symbol for the soul’s journey, of transformation and new beginnings. A reminder to listen to our head. Crows are thought of as divine messengers. Crows in dreams are an opportunity to ask for their advice and about the future. Crows are considered to be magical, guides and fortune-tellers. They can bring messages or be our spiritual guide. They are considered to bring luck and are a good omen. A crow asks us to let go of what no longer serves us and to look to the new. To consider your options.
The crow is made from clay to connect you to mother earth. Crow and black feathers for their connection to sky in which they drifted from and the air element.
The feathers are connected to beautiful hand braided cords. Hanging in the feathers are 2 silver coloured metal spirals to connect to the fire element that created them. Plus there are beautiful aquamarine beads for the benefits they bring.
Aquamarine is a stone that is great for sensitive souls. It helps with calmness, soothes fears, reduces stress and quietens the mind. It helps build courage. It helps support learning, to think clearly, for reasoning and clarifies perception. Useful letting go and closure on all levels.
